The new Alpine Cockroach Gel Bait is the first roach gel labeled Reduced-Risk by the EPA, meaning the active ingredient is safer around people, pets, and the environment, yet is tough on household roaches. In fact, roaches almost can't resist the bait formulation of Alpine, and once they feed on the bait they will transfer it to other roaches causing eventual death.
